About Us

Founded 1958

The Adult Education School, located in Bermuda, welcomes students from 16 years up who are seeking their high school equivalency diplomas (GED), as well as students who simply want to learn to read. The school provides the education necessary for a student seeking to earn his or her GED, from simple testing of students that are already well prepared for the GED, to the education of others who need further knowledge and skills before they are ready to take the GED exam.

Transforming Lives Building Communities

We build community by supporting adult learners to achieve their educational and career goals. We offer an opportunity to persons 16 years of age and over who have failed to gain educational qualifications in the traditional system. As an alternative school we offer morning, afternoon and evening classes five days per week. The school offers a range of programmes that include: Wilson Reading, a highly individualized method for teaching struggling readers, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Pre-GED, GED ans IC3 Computer Fundamentals Course.
